This book is full of heart – so much heart that it will envelope you and carry you through the day. I love that friends and family stepped up to support this family. I am impressed by Gary who went through the process and perhaps learned a bit about himself and his health in the process. Well written and even though not all of us have had catastrophic experiences in our lives – very relatable. A father daughter relationship is priceless, and this dad and daughter are shining examples. A good read.

The book moves you through the long and challenging ordeal of a very young girl and her family’s struggle against an unforeseen kidney disease diagnosis. When you need to push the medical community for answers it can certainly be a daunting challenge. The perseverance of this young girl and her family never swayed, and they were able to find answers and move forward to address the disease. Albeit they encountered many difficult and scary days together, they relied on one another and never gave up. Life is about faith, family, and friends and if you have them, you can overcome a difficult situation as this family has done. Very well done.

I can vouch for you John. It was an excellent read. I felt like I was reliving it and that’s cause I was at your place a lot and still had no idea what you all went through.
